Biography and About: Charles Boyd
Owner of HowToYes.net and currently the main writer.
Currently and for the past 15 years, I have been flying for a reputable and reliable charter company flying a Lear Jet as a Captain. This has been an amazing and rewarding career.
When I was around 10, I was always looking to the sky. Watching the airplanes go by and wanted to be involved somehow. At the time, I was unaware that could even happen until years later.
Career
I have had an amazing career. After receiving my ratings from a small community college, I started with a banner town company as my first commercial flying job. Once I had completed my year commitment to them, I was offered a job flying the Cessna 402 to and from the Bahamas. This lasted for approximately two years until I was offered a job flying the Piper Navajo on a similar operation.
A wonderful opportunity fell into my lap next. A Lear Jet operator was looking for a number of First Officers. Unfortunately, the company did not have a stellar financial track record and I was soon forced to seek other employment. This is when I found my current job of 15 years and in a short time frame later made Captain on the Lear Jet 35/55 and now Lear Jet 60.
Free Time
There is nothing typical about my schedule, or perhaps lack
With this schedule, I’m able to not only bring the kids to school on a daily basis but also able to pick the kids up from school. Most days I’m also able to sneak off with the wife and have lunch, one of my favorite times that we spend together.
After being up late spending time with the wife and waking up early to rush the kids off to school, weekends are an amazing thing to look forward to as this is when I can catch up on some sleep. After a busy week of kids, flights, and website building, its nice to sleep in until brunch. Everybody needs a time to recharge and reset.
Many Paths to Take
I have a main website and four subdomains I am juggling at once. This has been a learning experience to say the least.
Recently I have knocked the dust off some of my remote control vehicles. The kids have gotten older and are showing an interest in not only playing with them but learning to fix them and get them back running in better shape. You can see my progress and how you can have some fun too on my subdomain: Drones.HowToYes.net
Our Mother Earth has stuck with us through thick and thin. It is about time we come to realize this and begin to repay the favor by taking care of her. Recycle.HowToYes.net is going to help bring light to a quickly dimming issue that we all share.
Success.HowToYes.net is my current and future roadmap to help you succeed in your future in the same way that I have obtained mine, hopefully skipping some of the potholes I found along the way.
I have many aspirations I’m attempting to fulfill with my multiple domain websites. One that I eventually will come back to and is simply a placeholder, for now, Store.HowToYes.net. Eventually, I will come back to this portion and spend the much more needed time and dedication it deserves.
To Infinity, and Beyond
This website has been something I have thought about diving into for quite some time. I never thought I would be writing my own biography, nevermind a full website without much assistance. There are some major plans for all of this coming. Its been an amazing experience and there is not a better way to learn than hands on.
Recently I have acquired my Part 107 Small Unmanned Aircraft System (sUAS) rating. I plan on putting something together with this. There is still some figuring out that I must do to make all the ends tie together.
As far as long-term goals, with everything swirling around me,
Thank you for reading my biography and being a part of all of this. Feel free to reach out and give me any feedback you might have, or even let me know a success story you would like to share.
